i know you're kidding, but to me its nice to know its there if i ever want to indulge and have a lost weekend as someone pointed out earlier, its nice to have a little shadiness in your life once in a while i live in chicago and these types of places haven't been around for over 10 years.... all those cool warehouse spots are condos right now i know its goofy, but you miss that type of shit
why do you think so many people go to demf? obviously music is the biggest draw, but the shady aspect of detroit is also a huge lure
That's weird because a few of my friends have been teling me Chicago is going through a weird phase with it's scene right now that resembles that loft party crew that kept getting busted in Detroit. They said it is like the same 2 or 3 promoters throwing gas parties at the same few spots and they are garenteed to be busted every weekend. So the gas is there, it is just a matter of getting in and out before it's busted

I figure..."why the hell not keep going down the low road?" so I'll ask:
What's the quality of N2O at a typical gas party nowadays? Is it industrial /automotive quality gas or decent medical grade? Or something else?
Back in the day before there was decent gas, people'd fill a tank at a welding place on Telegraph. That shit ran the gamut. You never knew what you were, uh, sucking.

wow suprising that there wasnt more coverage of people dieing from that shit sulfer=not healthy I think there was a few kids that died here and there. I remember some story of a dude who had a tank, sealed off his car interior, and then opened er up in. Aspyhixyed. Shit seems all urban legend if you ask me. Sure, people died...though. It's nasty shit, gas. You know it used to be you could tell by the taste at parties...sometimes even smell...what reprobates were using industrial gas. I'll wager it was more common than one would think. Dental / medical gas is strictly regulated...industrial, not one bit.

I went to school with a kid that thought it would be a good idea to use a garbage bag instead of a balloon. he's not around anymore.

You guys are a bunch of fucking rookies! We used to use garbage bags, too. As long as you have a "spotter", it's alright and totally safe. On the sulfur tip, Shalvis used to sell filters, and I once made one out of charcoal and a garden hose.

Well fucking put! And agree with "lol Push" ...but they had that great fuzzy booth! ...fuck all those joints. I'd rather chill with the people I know, at one of our houses. Because, you know, at least they can pay some bills and own some shit without having to turn it into some sort of shadesville.

You guys are all suckers.
I went to veterinary dental school, so now I just make medical grade keta-nitrous.
I don't need some seedy gas bar to push my shit, either. Hit me up at the zoo.
