tied presents Sunset Boat Cruise:

Anthony Collins (Scissor & Thread, Natural History)
Tied Collective (Max Jacobson, Mantas Steles, Ari Frank)

The wait is finally over. We couldn't be happier to announce our very first boat party in Chicago featuring none other than artist extraordinaire, the Paris born and now Brooklyn based Anthony Collins!

Anthony's "French Touch" blended with Deep House, Minimal, and Deep Tech make him a perfect match for this special tied celebration. Those of you who joined us earlier this year when we had Anthony over experienced the magic in the air. We get to do it all over again now, this time with sun setting down on the one of a kind skyline of our beautiful city. What can be a better way to celebrate life with this summer rapidly coming to an end?

This is a pre-sale only event, capacity is limited. Get your tickets now and don't miss your opportunity to go on a magical sailing trip with us!

Brett Cimbalik is a New York based multi-instrumentalist and one half of the electronic duo Super Public. Following 2012's classic More Than a Marathon EP and last winter's electo "Showcase East Remix" of Snakepiss' "Unvisible," Brett Cimbalik is gracing Chambray with a solo 12". Brett's style is influenced by the future-forward jazz of Herbie Hancock and Bill Laswell, and four on the floor Detroit Techno.

"I Wish I Could Say the Same" is Brett's debut release under his given name, after more than a decade of performing in jazz ensembles, hip hop production, shred guitar and electronic composition. Brett's debut single continues the quest for emotive/melodic techno.

A-side "I Wish I Could Say the Same" featuring shuffling rhythms, emotive synthesizers, an addictive rhythmic guitar, icy pads, and dance-floor shaking beats. B-side "Goldenrod" wobbles into subdued techno territory as its cold synth melodies and warm pads work together at an intoxicating pace.
